February 28, 2022 at 6:35 pmI went through all the steps for installing the Textra SMS app. I made it the default as instructed. I set up all my messaging personalizations. First problem, nothing ‘took’ after multiple attempts. Second problem, I got a message when I tried opening ‘messaging’ that said I needed to set the ‘default’ but wouldn’t let me do that. I couldn’t access messaging at …. all. I finally uninstalled the Textra SMS app. I HATE the black/white messaging and it hurts my eyes. This is just unacceptable in the newest phone available ….. that I can’t change the colors just in the Samsung setting. Fix this please! (Note: I’m a ‘woman of a certain age’ and not tech savvy at all …. but even my 35 yr old son couldn’t figure this out).

March 31, 2022 at 2:23 amI agree. It is an expensive phone and you can’t change the messaging color. It should change when you buy the theme like it used to. I don’t like that. I’m an older person and it hurts my eyes.
