Xiaomi has finally wrapped up the Xiaomi Note 7 smartphone and they officially made this public in China with impressive cameras set-up and other regulars. The new Redmi brand also released some budget phone last year which was the Redmi 6, 6A and Redmi Note 6 Pro which features a dual camera set-up. Now the latest Redmi Note 7 sport a premium body design and parades ba generous inbuilt memory as well. The Xiaomi Redmi Note 7 sport a beautiful and premium body design that features something similar with the Xiaomi Mi 8 Lite smartphone. It measures 159.21 x 75.21 x 8.1mm in dimensions. The Android phone features a solid and diamond-like durable body. The panel is wrapped around a 2.5D Corning Gorilla 5 glass with an additional 0.8mm thickness on its front and back. In order to prevent it from breaking easily, the company equipped the phone with four corners. The well-polished microcrack edge will increase the toughness of the device.

The Note 7 is both dust and water resistant making it the first device in the Redmi family to feature such resistant. On the display, it has a screen size of 6.3-inch with 19.5:9 aspect ratio and full HD+ resolution of 2340 x 1080 pixels.  The display has support for 450-nits brightness, 1,500:1 contrast ratio, sun legibility, and eye protection mode. The bezel has also been reduced and the Note 7 is not that thick on its overall body design.

Under the hood, the Redmi Note 7 packs a Snapdragon 660 chipset with an internal memory of 64 GB and 128 GB storage choices that are paired with 6GB RAM. This phone will be competing with the likes of Oppo K1 and other devices. The company also claimed that the phone will outperform the Kirin 710 powered Honor 8X smartphone. There’s a slot dedicated for micro SD card which you can use to expand the memory if you want.

The Redmi Note 7 is powered by latest MIUI 10 based Android 9 Pie with a massive battery capacity of 4000 mAh. Other features include a USB-C port for Quick Charge 4.0. It has the normal charge which takes around 2 hours and 5 minutes. However, you can also purchase 18W fast charger which allows the phone to charge to the full in just 1 hour and 43 minutes.


The Redmi Note 7 packs an impressive cameras configuration on the inside. On the back, the phone is blessed with a dual camera of f/1.8 aperture 48-megapixel + 5-megapixel AI dual camera setup.  The sensor used Samsung ISOCELL GM1 48-megapixel Ultra Clear which capture poster-level HD photos.
It combines four pixels into one large pixel to shoot amazing photos in low-light conditions. On the front area, there’s a 13-megapixel camera that packs large pixel of 1.6micron. The camera is also capable of AI Smart Beauty and AI face unlock. Other features on the phone include 3.5mm audio jack and it also features an infrared blaster which enable the phone to also serve as a remote control. Additional security is a fingerprint scanner sitting on the back.

The Redmi Note 7 will be available in Black and color gradient editions of Blue and Red.  Under the box is a free protective cover and the company will be providing 18 months of warranty for the buyers of Redmi Note 7.
