If you are a good fan of Xiaomi, you will notice that this Chinese company seems to be announcing new phones every 15 days. This is so true as we have witnessed this year many smartphones ranging from flagship to mid-range from the company. Right now we got information from a reliable source that Xiaomi will be announcing another smartphone which will be the rebranded Xiaomi Mi CC9e.
The success of the Xiaomi Mi A2 that was launched last year made it clear that the new phone will surely be its predecessor. So the Xiaomi Mi A3 will be coming as the rebranded Xiaomi Mi CC9e that was launched sometimes ago. We also got some information concerning the pricing and the specifications as well.
The Xiaomi Mi A3 will be coming with 4GB RAM and inbuilt storage of 64GB which will be expandable via micro SD card. The handset will be announced exclusively in India at a price of around Rs. 13,700 ($199). As you can see it still fall under budget device which is roughly 750 AED in UAE. Powering the device is Snapdragon 665 with an impressive rear camera of 48 MP triple set-up. The display size is a large 6-inch 720p and you will get a front camera of 32 MP coupled with a nonremovable battery of 4,030 mAh with fast charging.
The phone will be on stock Android just like its predecessor, while the Mi A3 Lite which will be the affordable version will come with Snapdragon 675 processor. The Xiaomi Mi A3 had already passed through FCC and IMDA certification last week with a model number M1906F9SH which is similar to the Xiaomi Mi CC9e that was certified back in June.
However, the company seems to be bringing the A series back to the budget category as the pricing is below the Mi CC9e. The phone will start selling at a price of $199 which is below the Mi A2 that comes with $234 price tag selling at a price of Rs. 16,999 in India last year. This should not be a problem though, we just have to wait and see.
