Reboot Your TV

Update your Apps

If the problem continues, then it’s time to update your TV apps. You can check for App updates using the steps below.

Step 2: Next, look for App that you’re having trouble with, and then press and hold the ENTER key.

Step 3: You will see a Sub Menu appear, here you can go to Update Apps.

Step 4: Finally, select the app you want to update and click on update.

Step 1: Go to Settings and look for Support.

Step 2: Next under the Sub Menu, click on Software Update, then Update Now.

Step 3: Your Samsung TV will then check for updates.

Step 4: If an update is available, your TV will download them. After the download, you can now install them.

NB: Please do not power off your TV or unplug the power button while running the Firmware update. Doing so can make your TV not turn on again.

Reset TV to Original Settings

Resetting your TV is like witching back your TV to its default settings. This is a common way to fix this problem.

Step 1: Press the Smart Hub key on the remote control. (on an older TV, press the Home or Menu button).

Step 2: When the Smart Hub loads, press fast forward, 2, 8, 9, and rewind keys.

Step 3: Next, choose another location in the Setup list and then accept the Terms and Conditions.

Step 4: After that, the Smart Hub will update and reset.

Step 5: Now repeat the same thing and then switch back to your location.

Factory Reset Your Samsung TV

If the problem continues, then it’s time to factory reset your TV. To factory reset, Samsung TV, follow the steps below.

Step 1: Go to the Factory Reset functions under the Self-Diagnostics Menu in the Support Settings located at the bottom of your TV.

Step 2: Next, you will be asked to enter your security PIN, just enter 0000 which is the default PIN.

Step 3: Now confirm and your Samsung TV will reset.

6. Samsung TV won’t Connect to Wifi

If your Samsung TV is not connecting to a wifi network, then you should try and check if other devices can connect to the same wifi network before any troubleshooting. You can try connecting the wifi on your phone or another device entirely.

The sleep timer turns the TV off after a preset period of time. To turn this setting Off, go to Settings -> General -> System Manager -> Time -> Sleep Timer -> Select Off

Update Software

If you are using a Samsung Smart TV, then try and check if there is a software update. Although this is another risk on its own because if your TV turns off during the update, it could damage it. And it takes like 30 minutes for you to update your TV and this depends on your network.

Disable Power On on Mobile

You should know that power on” signals are sent through the wireless network,  and this may trigger a function that can turn On or Off your TV. To disable this function, you have to go to your device Settings > General > Network > Expert Settings > Power On with Mobile, and turn the setting off.

8. Samsung TV color problems

Color problem is another issue that you can face on your Samsung TV. Well without wasting much time, you should try below troubleshooting methods.

Make sure that the cables are tightly connected and you should also try and reboot your TV. You can unplug the TV from the wall socket and plug it in again. You should also adjust the picture quality as well. Go to “Picture” settings and adjust the color hue and also adjust the “Color Temperature” to emphasize the cool or warm colors.
