Oppo Realme U1 Debuts With Helio P70 And 25MP Selfies Camera
The Oppo Realme has finally debuted the first phone with Helio P70 chipset and it also comes with an impressive 25MP front-facing camera. The Oppo Realme U1 focus on selfies which is the top major highlight. It also has a nice body design with a teardrop notch and a bigger screen size as well. The camera on the inside uses an IMX576 sensor with 0.9µm pixels for low light performance. The teardrop notch paves way for a bigger screen size of 6.3” IPS LCD panel with 1,080 x 2,340px resolution and it reaches up to 90.8% screen to body ratio.
As you can see, it features a similar display with the Realme 2 Pro smartphone that was launched some few months back. The Reame U1 measures 2.05mm and the side ones are just 1.7mm. The screen is also protected by 2.5D Gorilla Glass 3 while the back is made of acrylic with a special coating that looks similar like a glass. The phone is even lighter as it weighs just 168 gram which is one of the advantages of acrylic.
On the camera, it offers rear dual cameras of 13+2MP that shoot 1080p at 30 seconds per frame. Unfortunately, it doe not support 4K videos quality. Underneath is a big Cortex-A73 core (plus for A53), along with a Mali-G72 MP3 GPU. The Oppo Realme U1 is shipped in two storage configuration. It comes in 3GB + 32GB and 4GB + 64GB which is also expandable with micro SD card. The P70 chipset promise to optimize the phone bringing it the best performance when gaming or multitasking.
It’s powered by Color OS 5.2 (based on Android 8.1 Oreo). Fueling the Realme U1 is a nonremovable battery capacity of 3,500mAh. The 12nm chipset process technology will reduce power usage. It also has a standard 10W charging over micro USB. Other features on the phone include an FM radio receiver, dual VoLTE, support for India in the offline text scanning and also translation between Hindi and English language.
The Oppo Realme U1 is available in Ambitious Black, Brave Blue, and Fiery Gold. The 32GB/3GB will sell at a price of INR11,999 ($170/€150) that is about 600 AED in UAE, while the 4GB/64GB will cost around INR14,999 ($215/€190) which convert to 780 AED in UAE Dubai.
