The OnePlus 6T has finally been released at an event in the New York. The phone when compared to the OnePlus 6, it features a water drop notch with an improved camera and a bigger battery capacity.
It breaks history because it was the first phone from the company to feature the trending on-screen fingerprint scanner and it lacks the 3.5mm audio jack.
OnePlus 6T DESIGN AND DISPLAY
Talking about the design, the OnePlus 6T features a similar design with the Oppo R17 Pro phone.
It packs a vertical dual camera setup and it measures 157.5 x 75.7 x 8.2mm and weighs 185 grams.
The OnePlus 6T also offers water resistant and it’s available in Mirror Black and Midnight Black. The phone has a screen size of 6.4-inch Optic AMOLED display that produces an aspect ratio of 19.5:9 and Full HD+ resolution of 2340 x 1080 pixels. OnePlus 6T has a Gorilla Glass 6 protection with Adaptive brightness, screen calibration, and reading mode. Other features include the optical under-display fingerprint scanner that you can use to unlock your phone.

On the small notch, you will get a selfie snapper of a f/2.0 aperture 16-megapixel Sony IMX371 camera.
The front camera support EIS and 30 fps FHD video shooting. On the back, you will get a vertical dual camera module that consists of Sony IMX519 16-megapixel with f/1.7 aperture.
It has OIS, EIS and PDAF features. The secondary camera on the back is 20-megapixel with f/1.7 aperture. Both main camera support HDR, timelapse, 4K video shooting, slow-motion video recording (1080p) at 240 fps. The handset also promises low-light photography experience through new Nightscape feature that based on AI for captured impressive shots in dim light surroundings.
OnePlus 6T HARDWARE AND SOFTWARE
The OnePlus 6T features the latest Snapdragon 845 chipset. It has a bigger battery capacity of 3,700mAh with fast charging technology. Sadly it does not support wireless charging technology. On the storage, the OnePlus 6T is available in models. You will get a 6 GB and 8 GB RAM LPDDRX variants. The inbuilt memory is 128GB and 256GB and it does not support micro SD card for expansion. Other features include OxygenOS based Android 9 Pie OS with Face ID. For connectivity, the OnePlus 6T has dual-SIM support, 4G VoLTE, 2×2 MIMO, Wi-Fi 802.11ac, Bluetooth 5.0, NFC, GPS, and USB-C.
