Lenovo announces The world’s first 5G laptop and Z6 Pro 5G Edition

You read that headline right. Yes, Lenovo has taken all of us by surprise.  Without much rumors or speculation, the company has just announced its new laptop which is the first in the whole world to come with a 5G network. The company also announced the special edition of the Lenovo Z6 Pro 5G at this year’s edition of MWC Shanghai. This Chinese brand presents this 5G initiative alongside other brands such as Vivo.

Just as mentioned above, this is the first world 5H laptop. It’s powered by Snapdragon 8cx processor which handles its assignment at a fast speed of 2.75GHz. The rest of the specifications is not mentioned at the event.  This, however, looks like Lenovo want to start introducing 5G to laptops in the future.

Lenovo Z6 Pro 5G

This Lenovo Z6 Pro 5G explorer Edition comes with a powerful Snapdragon 855 processor and it also has a Snapdragon X50 Modem. It still maintains a screen display size of 6.39-inch AMOLED with a waterdrop notch. Fueling the device is a massive nonremovable battery capacity of 4000 mAh just like the original Z6 Pro.

This phone is just the 5G version of the Lenovo Z6 Pro which can easily be identified because it has a branded 5G logo beside the rear camera. For now, there’s no info if the phone will go global, however, it’s expected to sell at a price of $450 which convert to 1650 AED in UAE.
