iPhone 11, iPhone 11 Pro & iPhone 11 Pro Max: Everything You Need To Know

Apple has finally announced the iPhone 11 series at an event in Cupertino. The iPhone 11, iPhone 11 Pro and the iPhone 11 Pro Max are the successor of the iPhone XR, iPhone XS, and the iPhone XS Max respectively and they come with more camera’s, and also a powerful processor as well.

The iPhone 11 is the most affordable of them all. The phone is even cheaper than the iPhone XR and will surely be the best selling of them all. The big changes here on the iPhone 11 is the extra camera set-up, the brand new Apple A13 Bionic chipset which is also available in its siblings and the new attractive colors.

Apple also equips the device with a 6.1-inch LCD TrueTone Liquid Retina display. The Apple A13 Bionic boasts a powerful CPU and also a powerful GPU for graphics. The idevice is available in three storage variant that includes 64GB, 128GB, and 256GB.

On the back of the iPhone 11 is a two-camera set-up. There’s a 12MP f/1.8 wide-angle camera with OIS and a 12MP f/2.4 ultrawide camera with a 120° field of view. Additional is the 2x optical zoom and 5x digital zoom. The ultrawide angle camera now lets you fit more into your viewfinder. The camera app is redesign to show you the view from the wide-angle camera lens before you switch to it.

Apple also claims that there’s an automatic Night Mode now, semantic rendering, and Smart HDR. The selfies snapper on the iPhone 11 has also been upgraded to 12MP sensor which will automatically switch to a wider angle when you attempt to snap a selfie in landscape mode.

It also has support for 4K 60fps video recording and also slow-motion video recording. Apple refuses to go further with other key features and details but says that the iPhone 11 lasts 1 hour longer than the iPhone XR. As usual, the iPhone 11 comes with an IP68 rating (maximum depth of 2 meters up to 30 minutes), and FaceID.

On the pricing, the iPhone 11 starts at $699 for the 64GB model, while the 128GB version goes up to $749, and lastly, the 256GB stopped at $849.

The iPhone 11 is available in white, black, Product RED, as well as green and yellow and inside the box is a pair of earphones with a lightning connector, a lightning to USB cable, and a 5W USB power adapter.  Apple also says that when the device is purchased, owners will get a 1-year free subscription for Apple TV+.

iPhone 11 Pro and iPhone 11 Pro Max Specifications And Price

The iPhone 11 Pro and the iPhone Max are the bigger versions of the iPhone 11 series.
The iPhone 11 Pro comes with a smaller screen display size of 5.8-inch which is Super Retina XDR OLED display with a 2436 x 1125 resolution.  The Max, on the other hand, comes with a bigger screen size of 6.5-inches and a 2688 x 1242 resolution. The 3D touch has been replaced with haptic touch.

Both Pro models feature A13 Bionic and are paired with 64GB, 256GB, and 512GB of storage. The RAM on the iPhone 11 Pro and Pro Max are 6GB. Both the iPhone 11 Pro and the 11 Pro Max are blessed with a triple rear camera – a 12MP f/2.4 ultrawide 120° camera, a 12MP f/1.8 camera, and a 12MP f/2.0 telephoto camera.

iPhone 11 Pro

The wide-angle and telephoto cameras on the iPhone 11 Pro have OIS and also 2x optical zoom in, 2x optical zoom out, and 10x digital zoom as well. It also has the new feature we mentioned on the iPhone 11 above. The Pro gives users the ability to choose between wide and telephoto for portrait photos.

When you hold down the shutter button, it allows you to record a video when in photo mode similar to WhatsApp.  There’s also a feature called Deep Fusion which will be available via an update later this fall.  The Deep Fusion will take three photos using each of the cameras and merge them into one high-quality photo.

Apple also announced an app called Filmic Pro which works is to allow you to record from multiple cameras at the same time including the front camera to be edited together later for different angles. The iPhone 11 Pro has four more hours of battery life than the iPhone XS while the iPhone 11 Pro Max has five more battery life compared to the iPhone XS Max.
Both come with an 18W charger.

On the pricing, the iPhone 11 Pro with 64GB is priced at $999, while the 256GB is priced at $1149 and lastly the 512GB is selling for $1349. On the iPhone 11 Pro Max, the smaller 64GB will sell for $1099, while the 256GB will cost $1249 and $1449 for the 512GB version. Both phones will be shipped in amazing colors such as Space Gray, Silver, Midnight Green, and Gold.

Apple went further to announced that the iPhone 8 will now start at $449 and the iPhone XR will start at $599. All the new iPhone 11 series will start selling starting from September 20.
