How to update iPhone 6S or newer to iOS 15

If your iPhone support iOS 15, you can easily upgrade to iOS 15 by going into your iPhone Setting < General < Software Update and follow the onscreen instructions to install the update.

However, before installing any update on your iPhone, it’s recommended that you backup your iPhone in case anything goes wrong during the update. You can backup your iPhone using your PC by following the below method.

  1. Plug your iPhone into your computer and launch iTunes. Now click on the iPhone icon to access your device.
  2. To backup, make sure you have selected This Computer as the location for the backup and then click Back Up Now.
  3. Go to the Preferences menu and select Devices. This will provide a list of your iPhone backup.
  4. Control-click on the backup you just made and on the menu, select Archive.

Step 1: On your iPhone, go to the Settings app and select General

Step 2: Then select Software Update.

Step 3:  You should see an iOS 14 appear there. Just tap on it to install.

Step 4: You will be prompted to enter your passcode and also agree to Apple’s terms and conditions.

After your iOS 15 finish downloading, your iPhone will now restart itself, and you are now on the latest iOS 15 on your iDevice. You can also install iOS 15 on your iPhone using iTunes. This method will require a PC and a USB cable.
