Screenshot can be very useful for many reasons. You can use it to send copies of error messages to support services, or better still to show a friend what your game screen looks like, or save a tweet that you suspect is going to be deleted.

Yes, Chromebooks can be a little confusing for someone who is still new to the platform and this is because the keyboard is different from other keyboards on Mac and Windows computers. You will notice that some keys are missing and some new keys have been added.  So If you are not able to take a full screenshot on your Google Pixelbook Go device, then this post is for you.

To take full screenshots on a Chromebook is not that difficult. Below is a step-by-step tutorial on how you can take a full screenshot on your Chromebook device.

Step 1: Press Ctrl + Show windows at the same time  (After this, everything on-screen will be in your screenshot).

Step 2: Next, when the notification appears, click to see your screenshot, or find it in your Files app.

OR

Step 1: Hold down the Ctrl + Shift keys simultaneously, then press the Show Windows button.

Step 2: Now, the screen will dim, and the cursor temporarily changes to a cross-hair.  Make use of the cross-hair to start one corner of your capture area and hold down on the mouse button or touchpad.

Step 3: Here you can drag the cursor across the screen using your mouse or finger until you create a box. Now lift the mouse button or lift your finger to complete the box and capture the screen.

That’s all. Your screenshot will then be saved on your Chromebook device.

Or Via stylus — Full Capture

You can also take a screenshot on your Chromebook via the stylus.

Step 1: Tap Stylus (or Pen).

Step 2: Use the stylus to tap the Capture Screen option. This will take a screenshot of your entire screen.

Via a Stylus — Partial capture

Step 1: Tap Stylus (or Pen).

Step 2: Now use the stylus to tap the Capture Region option.

Step 3: You can also use the stylus to touch and hold your starting point on the screen.

Step 4: Then drag your stylus to the final point, creating a box.

Step 5: Finally, release the to capture your screenshot.
