iPhone keeps restarting 1: Force restart your Apple iPhone.

This is the common solution to fix any iPhone or iOS issues. So if your iPhone is stuck in an infinite boot loop and couldn’t get past the Apple logo or it’s showing a black screen after the iOS 15 update. A force restart could do the magic. You can force restart your iPhone using different method depending on the models. Those using iPhone 8, 8 Plus or later, follow the steps below.

Step 1: Press and quickly release the Volume Up button.

Step 2: Press and quickly release the Volume Down button.

Step 3: Finally press and hold the Power button until the Apple logo appears.

Those using the iPhone 7, 7 plus or earlier should follow the steps below.

Step 4: Now iTunes will prompt you with a message saying that it has detected your iOS device in recovery mode and that you can restore your device. To restore tap on Device name button to initiate recovery mode restore through iTunes.

If you are using Apple iPhone without a home button like the iPhone X, iPhone XS, iPhone 11, etc, you should follow the steps below to enter recovery mode.

Step 1: Connect your iPhone to the computer using the USB/Lightning cable.

Step 2: When connected, open iTunes on your computer.

This is the last and only solution. This is the only solution to deal with major software issues like a corrupted operating system. Performing a DFU mode restore will put your device in a state that allows iTunes to access and sync with your iOS device without activating the boot loader. This process could also result in permanent data loss. That been said, you should also back up your file and data before proceeding.

Warning: Make sure your iPhone is not affected by any physical damage.
You should examine the iOS device and be sure the screen is not broken and it’s not affected by water or any liquid substance.

Those using iPhone 8, 8 plus, X and later should follow this method to enter DFU mode.

Step 1: You should connect your iPhone to the computer using the original USB cable or Lightning cable.

Step 2: Open iTunes on the computer.

Step 3: Turn your iPhone off as you normally do if it’s On.

Step 4: Press and quickly release the Volume Down button and finally, press and hold the Side/Power button until the screen turns black.

Step 5: When your iPhone turn black, press and hold the Volume Down button while you keep pressing the Side/Power button.

Step 6: Let go of the Side/Power button after 5 seconds but keep pressing the Volume Down button until your iPhone appears in iTunes.

Step 7: When you see iPhone in iTunes, let go of the Volume Down button. Your iPhone is already running in DFU mode and is all set for updating, downgrading, or restoring through iTunes.

Those using iPhone 7 should follow this step.

Step 1: You should connect your iPhone to the computer using the original USB cable or Lightning cable.

Step 2: Open iTunes on the computer.

Step 3: Turn your iPhone off of it’s on

Step 4: Press and hold down the Power (Sleep/Wake) and Volume Down buttons simultaneously for 8 seconds.

Step 5: Release the Power (Sleep/Wake) button but keep holding down the Volume Down button until iTunes prompts a message this message: “iTunes has detected an iPhone in recovery mode.”

Step 6: Release the Volume Down button if you see the message.

Now your iPhone screen will become completely black. That shows that you have successfully entered DFU mode. However if the screen doesn’t turn black or it shows some text or logo, you will have to start all over again. Those using iPhone 6s or earlier should follow the steps below to enter DFU mode:

Step 1: You should connect your iPhone to the computer using the original USB cable or Lightning cable.

Step 2: Open iTunes on the computer.

Step 3: Turn your iPhone off if it’s on.

Step 4: Now press and hold down the Power (Sleep/Wake) and Home buttons simultaneously for about 8 seconds

Step 5: Next release the Power (Sleep/Wake) button but keep holding down the Home button until you see the iTunes message saying that it has detected an iPhone in recovery mode.

Step 6: Release the home button if you see that message.

You should see that your iPhone is completely black which is an indication that you have successfully entered DFU mode. If it doesn’t turn black, you will have to start all over again.
