How to Fix iPhone Stuck On Battery Charging Screen

If you have an iPhone and you notice that the iPhone is stuck on the charging screen when you want to charge it after the battery is low. This is how-to-fix such issues on your iPhone. 1. Ensure that the charging adapter, cable, and wall outlet are working fine.

2. Clean the iPhone Lightning port to ensure everything is well connected.

3. You should allow your device to charge at least 30 minutes before proceeding with the troubleshooting methods below.

 

Method 1: Force Restart Your iPhone

To restart iPhone 6, 6S, 7

Step 1: Together press and hold the Home button and the Side button.

Step 2: Leave the buttons when you see the Apple logo on the screen.

Restart iPhone X, XS, 11, 12, XR

Step 1: From the left side of the device, press and quickly release the Volume Up button.

Step 2: Press and immediately release the Volume Down button.

Step 3: From the right side of the device, press, and hold the Side button.

Step 4: Release the Side button when you see the Apple logo on your iPhone screen.

Method 2: Connect iPhone to Mac or PC and then Disconnect

Step 1: Use a Lightning cable to plug your iPhone into a computer. Now locate and open Finder on Mac running macOS Catalina and above. On other windows, open iTunes.

Step 2: Enter the recovery mode. Press and hold the Home button and the right-side button. Continue holding it until you see the Apple logo. Leave the button when you see the Recovery mode screen and a popup in iTunes/Finder.

Step 3: You can now unplug your iPhone from the computer and then connect it to a charger and see if it will start charging.

Method 3: Slightly Heat the iPhone

This is one of the methods that work for many. All you have to do is to grab a hairdryer and then heat the back of the iPhone 6S for 30 seconds to a minute. After that try to power it on via the side button.

This is how to fix your iPhone 6 stuck on the battery charging screen. If the phone on, go to Setting App, tap on Battery > Battery Health. If you see a message that reads, battery health is significantly degraded, consider replacing the battery. Don’t forget to share this.
