Apple Watch does not support a camera, so how do you make FaceTime call on your Apple Watch? In this article, we will be showing you an easy way to make FaceTime call using your Apple Watch.

How to make a FaceTime call Via Phone app on your Apple Watch

Step 1: Open the Phone App on your Apple Watch

Step 2: Tap Contacts, scroll down and select the contact.

Step 3: Now tap the Call button and choose FaceTime Audio.

Here you can adjust the volume during the call by rotating the Digital Crown. To locate your favorite contact, just tap Recents or Favorite, select the contact.

For those whose cellular carrier offers a Wi-Fi calling service, you can receive FaceTime calls on your Apple Watch using Wi-Fi instead of the cellular network.

Step 1: On your Apple Watch, long-press the Digital Crown to activate Siri or you can raise your wrist and Hey Siri.

Step 2: Say FaceTime (Contact Name)

Siri will then place the calls using Wi-Fi or a cellular data connection depending on your settings and mode.

How to make FaceTime audio calls over Wi-Fi on the Apple Watch

Before you begin with the step below, turn on the Wi-Fi Calling on your iPhone.

Step 1: Open the iPhone’s Settings app and tap Phone.

Step 2: Next tap on Wi-Fi Calling, enable the setting for both iPhone, and add Wi-Fi Calling For Other Devices.

Step 3: Now go back and tap Calls on Other Devices, and Toggle On.

Step 1: Go to Phone App on the Apple Watch

Step 2: Choose the contact.

Step 3: Tap on the Call icon and select the FaceTime address.

Note: This method works even if the paired iPhone isn’t with you or turned off. However, the watch should be within the range of a Wi-Fi network that you connected with the phone.

This is another easy way to make FaceTime call on your Apple watch. This will work better for those using AirPods 2, AirPods Pro, or AirPods Max.

Now when you call the paired iPhone, you will see a green phone app icon on your Apple Watch. Just tap the icon; the watch will show you the current call. Then swipe up the watch face and tap the AirPlay icon to receive the call on your Apple Watch.
