To Reset Your Motorola Device, follow the steps below.

Go to Settings > System

Touch Advanced

Touch Reset options

Touch Erase all data (factory reset)

Touch Reset Phone

OR

Before using this second method, make sure you know your Gmail password and also note that erasing your device will wipe out everything on your phone.

With the phone powered off, press and hold the Volume Down button and the Power button at the same time until the device turns on.

Press the Volume Down button to highlight "Recovery mode"

Press the Power button to restart into Recovery mode.

Use the volume buttons to scroll to "wipe data/factory reset" and press the Power button to select it.

Use Volume buttons to scroll to Factory data reset, then press the Power button to select it.

Allow several seconds for the reset to complete.

Use Volume buttons to scroll to Reboot system now, then press the Power button to select it.

Allow several minutes for the reboot to complete.
